Diphtheria is a bacterial infection that affects your throat as well as the nose. But in case you do not go for a proper treatment, it can put your heart at risk and start to affect your overall health. Eventually, the condition may lead to death. Yes, it’s fatal! Diphtheria symptoms are pretty much identifiable and certainly, the diphtheria treatment works well. So, let’s talk about what is diphtheria and its natural treatment.

What Is Diphtheria?

Diphtheria is a condition that results from a bacterial infection. It affects the mucous membranes of your throat, nose, tonsils as well as skin. Common cold, fever as well as a sore throat are a few initial symptoms. But, once the bacterium is totally transmitted in the body, it produces toxins in the bloodstream – which is why the diphtheria treatment is essential.

What Is Diphtheria Caused By?

A bacteria called Corynebacterium diphtheriae causes the infection. It can spread both directly as well as indirectly. Being around the infected person when they sneeze or cough can also put you at risk.

What Are The Diphtheria Symptoms?

  • Fever, nausea or vomiting
  • Sore throat
  • Barking cough
  • Drooling
  • Discomfort and uneasiness
  • Difficulty in breathing as well as swallowing
  • A thick gray coating on the throat and tonsils

What Is The Diphtheria Treatment?

1. Garlic Treats Diphtheria Naturally.

Allicin in garlic is a potent antioxidant that fights off infections. So, crush around 2 to 3 garlic cloves and have them with room temperature water without chewing. However, do not use garlic as a long-term diphtheria treatment as it can lower your blood pressure.

2. Castor Leaves Help Cure Diphtheria Easily.

Take a few castor leaves as well as some drumstick leaves. Grind them into a paste and also add some garlic juice. Inhale the aroma of this paste to clear your nasal passage. Since castor leaves have anti-inflammatory as well as anti-microbial properties, they will treat the condition very well.

3. Pineapple Juice Works Wonders In Curing Diphtheria.

Since pineapple juice contains beta-carotene, it effectively cures the diphtheria symptoms. The juice loads your body with Vitamin C to improve the oral health and prevent any serious complications.

4. Tulsi Infused Water Fights Diphtheria.

Boil around 4-5 basil leaves in a cup of water and let it steep for about 5 minutes thereafter. Now, strain the infused water and drink it warm. Basil has antibacterial properties to efficiently cure respiratory infections.

5. Passionflower Is A Powerful Diphtheria Treatment.

Dry some passionflower petals and crush them into a powder. Add a tablespoon of this powder in a cup of boiling water. Strain the concoction and drink it twice daily. The passionflower concoction will reduce the diphtheria symptoms in just about a week.
