Neem, also known as Azadirachta Indica, is an absolute protector of human health. It has benefits that are both medicinal as well as therapeutic. Neem is increasingly becoming a vital ingredient for several home remedies and modern cosmetics. The benefits of neem leaves are much more than what you see on the outside. There are extensive uses of neem leaves, roots, bark, seeds as well as fruits. Neem or the Azadirachta Indica leaves are bitter in taste, light on the stomach, immune-boosting, and cooling in potency.

Benefits Of Neem Leaves

1. Neem Benefits The Wound Healing Process.

Having anti-bacterial properties, benefits of neem leaves make it a wonderful plant.

  • Drink neem leaves juice mixed with honey to clear toxins from the inside.
  • To promote faster healing, have some soaked and crushed neem leaves mixed with honey and ghee.
  • Directly apply to the wounds a paste of neem leaves, sesame and honey to clear the wounds.

Neem benefits even minor burns by reducing the pain, facilitating better wound healing, and minimizing any scars.

2. Neem Leaves Cure Skin Diseases.

External application of the neem juice can quickly treat skin problems. Therefore, here are some simple uses of neem leaves that’ll effectively get rid of skin inflammation:

  • Dry out acne with a paste of neem leaves soaked in water. It’ll also fade the spots.
  • A paste of turmeric with neem leaves helps treat eczema, ulcers, and ringworms.
  • Neem oil also works best to sooth any burning sensations.

3. Uses Of Neem Are Anti-Allergic.

Allergies, particularly the one caused by insect bites, are treatable with regular use of neem leaves. Mix some in amla (Indian gooseberry) along with ghee to apply daily and observe better results.

4. Neem Benefits Are Antiviral.

Having a cool decoction of neem leaves mixed with honey helps prevent jaundice. You can also consume a teaspoon of neem juice with jaggery and honey to cure vomiting and related fever symptoms.

5. Neem Leaves Are A Potent Hair Tonic.

They act as a natural ingredient that supports your hair health. Neem holds greater significance in Ayurveda and is beneficial for several related disorders. So, to prevent hair fall, graying, dandruff, and head lice, rinse your hair with neem water every day and you’ll see a visible difference.

6. Neem Benefits In Bleeding Piles.

To help get rid of bleeding piles, you can use neem leaves or the neem seed kernels put into a bifurcated radish, cooked under covered heating and then crushed to be made into pills for daily consumption.

7. Azadirachta Indica Aids Better Digestion.

In case of indigestion that results from overeating, you must consume neem leaves or seeds with some ghee and buttermilk. This will help boost your digestion more efficiently.

8. Neem Leaves Prevent Tooth Decay.

A neem mouthwash freshens up your breath. It not only acts as a strengthening agent, but also deeply cleanses toxins to prevent dental cavities. Alternatively, you can try cleaning your teeth with the neem tree bark.

9. Use Neem For Vaginal Disorders.

Washing the vulva and areas around with a neem decoction rids it of abnormal foul smell as well as excessive sliminess.

10. Neem Boosts Immunity.

Simply crush some leaves and have them with a glass of water every day to improve your immunity. This is one of the most essential benefits of neem leaves.
