What Is Glaucoma Treatment? Try These Remedies For Better Vision

Glaucoma is the most common type of eye condition. It causes blurred vision and eventually blindness. It is believed that macular degeneration and medications are some of the glaucoma causes. What Is Glaucoma?

What is glaucoma definition in simple words? Glaucoma is an eye disease where fluid builds up in the eye. This build-up pressurizes the optic nerve, retina, and lens. If the condition is not treated in time, it can lead to permanent eye damage. Glaucoma usually affects people above the age of 65 years. Vision loss arrives with old age, but it does not imply that the younger population is protected. What is glaucoma caused by?

What Are The Glaucoma Causes?

  • Accumulation of waste and toxins in the body
  • Heredity
  • Nutritional deficiency
  • Macular degeneration and other eye disorder
  • Slow metabolism
  • Medications for blood pressure and antidepressants

What Are The Glaucoma Symptoms?

  • Mild headaches
  • Narrowing peripheral vision
  • Tunnel vision
  • Halo effect and vague visual disturbances
  • Trouble adapting to darkness

Glaucoma Treatment

1. Apply An Essential Oils Mixture.

Since essential oils have medicinal properties, they support the vision. Being anti-inflammation as well as an antioxidant in nature, these are harmless for the eyes. So, take a drop of frankincense oil, cypress oil, and helichrysum oil. Blend well and apply on the cheeks and around the eyes. Do not put the oil into the eyes.

2. Bilberry Tea Reduces Glaucoma Symptoms.

Bilberry treats symptoms like night blindness as well as macular degeneration. It is rich in antioxidants that help repair the damaged tissues. So, boil a teaspoon of dried bilberries in a cup of water. Steep for 5 minutes, strain and drink once regularly.

3. Gingko Biloba Improves Blood Circulation.

Gingko Biloba is an Ayurvedic herb known to increase blood flow to the brain and the eyes. It is also anti-inflammatory in nature to help reduce glaucoma symptom. Thus, take around 240mg of Gingko Biloba in divided doses per day.

4. Grapeseed Extracts Are Effective.

Grapeseed extract is rich in linoleic acid as well as antioxidants. It reduces glaucoma symptoms and glaucoma causes like macular degeneration. Thys, take 100-300ml of grape seed extracts per day for quick glaucoma treatment.

5. Safflower Oil Improves Eye Health.

Safflower contains linoleic acid which stores the moisture in the skin and prevents drying. Massaging the eye area with this oil will increase blood circulation and keep the eyes moist. Take a few drops of the oil and massage gently around the eyes every night before sleeping.
