Yoga basics for beginners are nothing too complex. And it really doesn’t matter what your age or flexibility level is, yoga is easy and is for everyone. It is a doorway that leads towards attaining harmony which would have otherwise been lost in the middle of those buzzing emails, calls and messages or at some other level of Angry Birds. Yoga is that spiritual knowledge that paves way for individual consciousness. It positively works for your mind, body, and soul. And it also uplifts you emotionally as well as physically. Cautions to Apply

There applies some caution for yoga practice at home for beginners. Therefore keep in mind the following:

  • Never practice yoga under the influence of alcohol or mind altering drugs.
  • It is always better to start practicing yoga under the guidance of a qualified yoga trainer.
  • Those with disabilities or any medical conditions should consult their medical practitioner or the yoga teacher to assess any dangers or difficulties, which may arise.
  • Do what you can with ease and then stretch a bit more.
  • Gradually go beyond your limits to enhance the flexibility.
  • Make sure to relax briefly between each practice.
  • Follow your breath; this is the bridge between your body and mind.

Please Note: Before performing yoga for flexibility, beginners should take proper care in case of any chronic diseases or mild sickness. Do not forget to consult an Ayurveda or Yoga practitioner if you face any discomfort.
