Ginkgo biloba is the oldest living tree species. It grows in China and is said to be the greatest living fossil. Ginkgo biloba uses its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to heal even the most severe diseases and help prevent their symptoms. Ayurveda, therefore, recommends ginkgo biloba uses in the treatment of multiple ailments since it pacifies all the three doshas.

Ginkgo Biloba Uses

The easiest and the most effective way of using ginkgo is to prepare a tea.

  • Rinse 4-5 fresh ginkgo biloba leaves with water.
  • Put a kettle with water on heat. Let the water boil.
  • Add the ginkgo leaves in a cup and keep aside.
  • When the water boils, pour it over the leaves in a cup.
  • Cover the cup and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  • Strain and drink warm.
  • Add honey for extra benefits.

The ginkgo biloba benefits include protection from inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Therefore, it also has the ability to heal headache, joint pain and muscle cramps that occur due to mild or severe inflammation.

4. Ginkgo Ensures Heart Health.

Several studies have shown how ginkgo biloba benefits in enhancing your flow of blood. It supports better circulation towards the heart, which makes sure the cardiovascular system functions well. Blood pressure as well as cholesterol remain under control.

5. It’s Effective In Respiratory Diseases.

Ginkgo biloba uses an abundant amount of antioxidants to clear the respiratory tract. Also, its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the associated burning sensation that may cause difficulty in breathing.
