What Causes The Marfan Syndrome?

Since the Marfan Syndrome is hereditary, it has the chances of passing on from generation to generation. The Marfan disease occurs due to a change in the genes that forms a protein named fibrillin-1. This protein affects the growth of connective tissues and therefore accumulates the tissues in your eyes, bones, blood vessels and other organs.

Ayurveda believes that every disease is the result of imbalances in the natural elements of the body. So, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha must be treated and triphala is beneficial for the same. You can take one teaspoon of triphala powder with a teaspoon of clarified butter or honey and quickly see the Marfan syndrome symptoms subside.

2. Indian Madder Helps In Reducing Pain.

The Marfan disease causes pain in the feet as well as limbs. Indian madder, however, acts as an analgesic and aids in lowering the associated pain. So, make a paste by grinding the leaves and roots of this herb. Add a little water and apply on the affected area for better results.

3. Indian Pennywort Lowers Blood Pressure.

Known as gotu kola in Ayurveda, Indian pennywort is effective in reducing blood pressure which eventually helps prevent the strain on the heart. Therefore, crush around 10-15 leaves of gotu kola and extract a tablespoon of juice. Mix the juice with a teaspoon of honey and consume every day.

4. Heal Sleeping Problems With Licorice.

One of the major Marfan syndrome symptoms includes sleep apnea. Licorice is, therefore, known to act as a mild sedative that helps induce better sleep. So, brew a soothing tea – boil a teaspoon of licorice powder in one cup water. Steep the tea for 5-8 minutes and consume daily at night.

5. Garlic Is Beneficial For Heart Health.

Ayurveda suggests eating raw garlic cloves in the morning to regulate high blood pressure as well as cholesterol levels in the nerves. So, you can simply swallow 2 cloves of garlic with water on an empty stomach for heal the symptoms of Marfan disease.
