Itchy breasts is a skin inflammation that most women encounter at least once in their lifetime. Some sort of a breast infection is pretty common – especially when you aren’t taking care of your lifestyle, diet as well as cleanliness. Since it’s amongst the most tender organs, developing even a rash on breasts affects your routine. The condition is harmless, but timely treatment is necessary to prevent complications.

  • Growing breasts
  • Allergic reactions
  • Heat rash
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Yeast infection
  • Breast cancer

What Are The Itchy Breasts Symptoms?

  • Rash on breasts
  • Redness
  • Bumps
  • Soreness
  • Patches
  • Burning sensation
  • Dryness

Home Remedies For Itchy Breasts

1. Moisturize Dry Skin.

To soothe the inflammation, ensure your skin remains well hydrated. Dry skin is one of the primary itchy breasts causes. Your skin loses its natural oils as well as moisture. This makes it essential to use a good quality moisturizer. Therefore, try more natural options: ghee, olive, coconut or almond oil.

2. Consume Natural Antihistamines.

In case the rash on your breasts is due to an allergic reaction, counteract the effects of histamine. Check out the best natural antihistamine food list here to know what will keep your immunity stronger. These foods will decrease the irritation and soothe your skin.

3. Adjust Your Bathing Routine.

When you experience itchy breasts symptoms, start with correcting your bathing routine. No unscented products must be used. Stop taking long hot water showers. Do not rub your skin with a scrubber of loofah. Last but not the least, moisturize after the shower to stay protected all day.

4. Basil Is Therapeutic.

Pound some basil leaves with water into a smooth paste and apply it over the rashes for about 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water and prevent a rash on breasts.

5. Turmeric Is A Universal Solution.

You can use turmeric to soothe itchy breasts or any breast infection. Mix a pinch of turmeric powder in 2 tbsp milk and apply it over the inflammation to treat it within days.

6. Use Cornstarch.

It is important to not let the skin dry, but it is also essential to restrict excessive moisture from sweat. So, in place of your regular talcum powder, sprinkle some cornstarch. Do this twice every day to avoid having itchy breasts or any similar breast infection.

7. Honey Is Soothing.

Since honey is moisturizing as well as antibacterial in nature, you can apply it every day to soothe any rash on breasts. So, mix a tbsp honey in a tsp lemon juice and spread it over the affected areas twice a day.
