We’d all like our hair to be as shiny, voluptuous, and healthy as possible. If you’ve noticed hair fall lately or are simply not happy with its thickness, massaging your scalp with herbal oils is one of the best ways to fix the problem – for the simple reason that it boosts blood circulation and supplies your skin with essential nutrients to improve your hair health. So, find yourself the perfect Ayurvedic oil for hair growth right now.

Need An Ayurvedic Oil For Hair Growth? Choose From These 5

1. Rosemary

Rosemary makes an excellent Ayurvedic hair oil to increase thickness since it contains a whole bunch of antioxidants that fight skin damage. It enhances blood flow on the scalp, reduces inflammation, and fights any bacteria that are harming your precious hair. This herb also has relaxing effects on the mind, this eliminating stress so often that contributes to hair loss. It has been found to significantly improve the texture of hair too.

Add 3 drops of rosemary oil to 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil. Massage your head and rinse off after 30 minutes with mild herbal shampoo.

2. Chamomile

The next Ayurvedic oil for hair growth is the oh-so-soothing chamomile oil. This essential oil is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and to our delight – not greasy! It’s great for tackling hair thinning causes like dandruff and dryness. If you happen to have an itchy scalp, look no further. Chamomile oil not only promotes hair growth, but also gives you softer and silkier hair.

Add 3 drops of chamomile oil to 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil. Apply it and wash after a few hours. You could also leave it overnight.

3. Bhringraj

If you turn to Ayurveda for hair regrowth, a brilliant solution is bhringraj oil. This powerful oil is widely used in treatment for balding, dandruff, and hair damage. It has a deeply nourishing, lubricating, and rejuvenating effect on the scalp. The skin absorbs this Ayurvedic oil for hair growth rather well. Bhringraj oil enhances the functioning of the sebaceous glands, increases blood circulation, and also beats stress that contributes to hair fall.

Massage some bhringraj oil onto your scalp before hitting the bed and wash it off with mild herbal shampoo the next morning.

4. Amla

Also called Indian gooseberry, amla makes perhaps the best hair growth oil – it’s at least in the top 3. Did you know that the fruit contains more vitamin C than oranges? Amla oil sends blood to the scalp, opens up the pores, and increases the production of oils on the scalp that support hair growth. It strengthens the hair and prevents breakage. And you’re almost sure to see an improvement in hair texture.

Just massage the oil to your scalp and wash off with mild herbal shampoo, after a few hours.

5. Ashwagandha

The last Ayurvedic hair oil for hair growth on our list is Ashwagandha oil. Also called winter cherry and Indian ginseng, Ashwagandha is one of the most powerful herbs out there. Studies confirm that it fights stress and promotes better sleep. By doing so, it can have a significant effect on stress induced hair fall. If your hair thinning results from anxiety, this might just be your perfect solution. This oil also reduces dandruff and tackles premature greying.

Add 3 drops of Ashwagandha oil to a palm full of coconut oil and apply it onto your scalp. Wash off with mild herbal shampoo after 2-3 hours.
