And in Ayurveda ‘draksha phalottama’ means the ‘best of all fruits’. And all these titles have been earned for many a good reason. The benefits of grapes range from health to beauty! Grapes have been a vital element of the Ayurvedic diet since ancient times. They are known to balance Vata and Pitta, and are used in many Ayurvedic home remedies. The fiber and potassium in grapes make them a heart-friendly fruit. Resveratrol, a polyphenol found in grapes, has anti inflammatory, cholesterol-lowering, and antioxidant properties. Thus grapes keep our heart safe from diseases. They help relax blood vessels, ensure their smooth flow and keep blood pressure levels safely down.
