Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a condition where the lungs get inflamed. It leads to restrictive breathing as well as excessive production of phlegm – major COPD symptoms. The signs show up in episodes where the condition starts to worsen.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) essentially includes disorders like emphysema, chronic airway obstruction as well as bronchitis. Treatment is possible with natural ingredients like herbs. These cure the condition without any side effects. However, you might want to see an expert if things get serious.

What Are The COPD Causes?

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is caused by excess smoking as well as vaping tobacco that harms the lungs, leading to failure. In Ayurveda, COPD results from Kapha imbalance, leading to the production of mucus. This gradually restricts your breathing.

What Are The COPD Symptoms?

  • Shortness of breath
  • Wheezing
  • Feeling of tightness in the chest
  • Coughing
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Production of mucous
  • Blue fingernails as well as lips
  • Weight loss
  • The urge to clear throat in the morning
  • Respiratory infections

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Treatment

1. Turmeric Soothes COPD Symptoms.

Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory as well as antioxidant spice that protects vital organs like lungs from oxidative stress. Therefore, add half a teaspoon of turmeric to a cup of water and drink daily.

2. Use Ginseng As An Effective COPD Cure.

Panax ginseng is a great COPD cure. It inhibits the development of COPD symptoms and ensures better lung functioning. Therefore, boil a teaspoon of ginseng root in two cups of water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink daily.

3. Soothe Inflammation With Peppermint.

COPD causes inflammation in the lungs as well as chest. Peppermint proves to be anti-inflammatory as well as an antibacterial for the condition. It, therefore, aids in normal breathing. So, you can apply peppermint essential oil on your chest to release the tightness and burning.

4. Eucalyptus Works As A COPD Cure.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is curable with cenole, a component found in eucalyptus essential oil. Eucalyptus oil, therefore, helps reduce severe episodes of COPD symptoms. So, add 10 to 12 drops of the oil in warm bathing water. Inhale the steam and soak the upper body in the water.

5. Drink Echinacea Tea To Cure COPD Causes.

Echinacea is used to treat upper respiratory infections and flus. It is antibacterial as well as anti-inflammatory in nature. Studies have proved the positive effects of echinacea on COPD symptoms. Therefore, boil a teaspoon of echinacea tea leaves in a cup of water for 10 minutes. Strain and consume twice every day.
