Herald patch or the pityriasis rosea is a viral infection that causes severe skin rashes as well as patches on the neck, chest or abdomen. The inflammation usually stays for 6 weeks. However, under serious circumstances, the pityriasis rosea symptoms or the herald patch may last much longer.

Similar to chicken pox, once you are infected with the pityriasis rosea symptoms, you are unlikely to suffer again. The rashes usually aren’t painful, but you may feel some discomfort after they increase in size. Initially, the rashes are slightly pink in color with defined borders. But, they become oval-shaped after a few weeks. You can easily get rid of the rashes. Pityriasis rosea treatment with simple home remedies can ease the distress.

1. Tea Tree Oil Cures Herald Patch.

2. Garlic Aids Faster Healing.

3. Aloe Vera Treats Pityriasis Rosea Symptoms.

4. Flax Seeds Reduce Pityriasis Rosea.

Since flax seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, they help reduce the rashes as well as redness. Therefore, grind a teaspoon of flax seeds and take it every morning for better results.
