What Is A Neti Pot?

A neti pot is a tool used to clear nasal congestion. It’s a ceramic container with which you cleanse your nasal passage to get rid of the debris, allergens or any other pollutants. • Stand close to a sink or put a big utensil below your nose so during the nasal rinse, water doesn’t spill around.
  • Tilt your head to bring your nostrils vertically in line.
  • Now, place the spout of the neti pot into the top nostril. Do not press the septum.
  • Allow the solution to drain from the top nostril to the bottom and out.
  • Repeat the process for the other nostril.
  • Gently blow your nose and gargle with water.
