Herniated Disc Remedies
1. Relax The Muscles With Abhyanga.

2. Release Discomforts With Hot Water Baths.
Massages each day may not be ideal for some people, but hot water baths definitely can. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil in your bathing water and relax in it. Lavender reduces the herniated disc pain and other associated symptoms.
3. Cure Slipped Disc Pain With Devil’s Claw.
Since devil’s claw is an analgesic, it’s beneficial for arthritis, neck pain as well as lower backache. So, take about 750 mg of devil’s claw extract divided into three doses daily and ease the symptoms.
4. Drink Valerian Tea To Alleviate Slipped Disc Symptoms.
Valerian root acts as a sedative that calms your nerves. So, add some valerian roots in a cup of water boiling water. Let it steep for about 5 minutes, strain and drink twice daily to soothe the herniated disc pain.

Since Triphala churna is a mixture of several Ayurvedic herbs, it reduces pain as well as strengthen your bones. So, take one teaspoon Triphala churna with warm water every night before sleep. This will also help reduce excess Vata in the body.
7. Use Gandharvahastadi Oil For Slipped Disc.
Gandharvahastadi or castor seed oil helps treat the symptoms as well as other associated discomforts. So, consume around 10-15 ml of the oil on an empty stomach once daily for better results.
