What is tofu, really? As most know, tofu or bean curd is made from soy beans. Dried beans are ground with water and the milk is extracted. This milk is then curdled. The curds are pressed down into blocks and the whey is drained out – and voila, tofu is made! It is a favourite among vegans all across the world. Read on to find out the amazing tofu benefits.

Moreover, tofu is a complete source of protein, which is uncommon for vegetarian foods – it contains all nine amino acids required by the body to build protein.
