Well, yes because they can lead to other serious ailments. So, here’s some important information about female hypogonadism treatment.

What Is Hypogonadism?

Hypogonadism is a state when the body stops producing sex hormones. What is hypogonadism in females? It is a lack of estrogen as well as progesterone, which leads to infertility and lowering libido. There are two types of female hypogonadism:

  • Primary hypogonadism: A problem with sexual organs (gonads)
  • Secondary or central hypogonadism: A problem with the brain

What Are The Hypogonadism Causes?

Primary Hypogonadism

  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Genetic disorders
  • Severe infections
  • Liver or kidney diseases
  • Exposure to radiation
  • Surgery of sex organs
  • Hemochromatosis

Central Hypogonadism

  • Genetic disorders
  • AIDS
  • Pituitary disorders
  • Inflammatory diseases
  • Obesity
  • Weight loss
  • Steroid abuse
  • Brain injury

What Are Hypogonadism Symptoms?

  • Lack of menstruation
  • Hot flashes
  • Loss of body hair
  • Small breasts
  • Decreased sex drive
  • Milky discharge from breasts

Hypogonadism Treatment

1. Massage With Clary Sage Oil.

Since clary sage oil balances the estrogen levels in your body, you can use it for regular massage. Mix ½ a teaspoon of coconut oil in 4-5 drops of clary sage essential oil and gently massage the abdomen, wrists as well as feet.

2.  Take Ashwagandha For Strength & Energy.

Withania Somnifera, also known as ashwagandha, improves blood circulation and helps with memory retention. Therefore, take around 500mg ashwagandha powder with milk daily to boost the immune system as an effective hypogonadism treatment.

3. Dong Quai Eases Monthly Cycles.

Since Dong Quai is estrogenic, it helps regularise menstruation. It also helps reduce fatigue, tiredness as well as other female hypogonadism symptoms. Therefore, take a few slices of the Dong Quai herb and prepare a tea. Boil the slices in water for 10 minutes, strain and drink warm daily. But, make sure you do not consume the herb alongside any blood thinning medications.

4. Say Goodbye To Infertility With Vitex.

Female hypogonadism treatment is possible with FSH dosage that helps induce pregnancy. The vitex herb increases the FSH levels. So, you can drink a cup of vitex herb daily and get rid of the hypogonadism symptoms.

5. Shatavari Is An Excellent Hypogonadism Treatment.

For a quick hypogonadism treatment, Shatavari proves beneficial. Since it’s an aphrodisiac, you can use the same to ease the discomforts. Therefore, take around 2-6 g of Shatavari powder with milk every day and relieve the female hypogonadism symptoms.
