Human papillomavirus infection is a viral infection characterized by the occurrence of warts on your body. These may develop around the genitals, hands, legs or even on the face. Warts are the most common HPV symptoms in both men, and women. However, HPV in women is more harmful as it may endanger the next generation. Therefore, one should know exactly what is HPV, its causes, the HPV symptoms, as well as home remedies for a quick treatment.

What Is HPV (Human Papillomavirus Infection)?

What is HPV? It’s a sexually transmitted infection that can spread from an infected individual to another. Skin-to-skin contact during sexual intercourse, an abrasion, tearing of the skin or cuts/wounds can spread the disease and lead to an outbreak of warts.

What Are The HPV Causes?

The reason behind the occurrence of the HPV infection is the human papilloma virus which can enter the skin through vaginal, oral, or anal sex – transmitting nearly 40 strains. Depending upon the strain in a particular individual, the infection can affect different parts of the body.

What Are The HPV Symptoms?

Any person who is sexually active can develop the infection, not immediately but also years later. Mostly the signs go unobserved but here are the common HPV symptoms to look out for:

  • Genital warts
  • Skin tags on other areas of  the body`
  • Pain
  • Itching
  • Respiratory problems (in severe cases)

Human Papillomavirus Infection Treatment

Since HPV is not completely curable and the virus may lie dormant for years, these home remedies can effectively prevent the inconvenience when the problem starts to surface.

1. Try Aloe Vera For HPV Symptoms.

Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties, it helps reduce the burning as well as itching caused by the warts.

2. Drink Echinacea Tea For Human Papillomavirus Virus Treatment.

Prepare a tea by boiling one teaspoon of dried echinacea herb powder in a cup of water. Strain and drink every day to combat the infection.

3. Garlic Cures HPV Symptoms.

Crush 4-5 garlic cloves and consume raw before your morning meals every day. Since garlic kills the HPV causing virus, it effectively helps get rid of warts and other associated symptoms.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar Alleviates The HPV Infection.

Apple cider vinegar is highly acidic and therefore it sheds off warts by drying them. So, continuously apply ACV on warts for a week and observe the results. You can also drink a glass of water with one tsp mixed in it.

5. Tea Tree Oil Benefits In HPV Healing.

How to get rid of HPV? Use tea tree oil, which is known for its antiviral as well as antibacterial properties. Simply apply it to the warts along with the area of infection for better results.
