Cirrhosis of the liver is a condition in which the liver gets damaged due to a chronic injury. The causes of liver cirrhosis are scarring on the liver which harms its functioning. If the liver is not cured, it may even lead to death. Cirrhosis treatment may not be easy but is possible with Ayurvedic care. Ayurveda considers aggravation of Pitta the reason for cirrhosis of the liver. The Rasa, as well as Rakta Dhatus, become intoxicated and weak. Liver Cirrhosis Treatment
1. Turmeric Is A Trusted Ayurvedic Remedy.
Cirrhosis of the liver is caused by the aggravation of Pitta. Turmeric is regarded as a balancer of all the doshas. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric to a glass of warm milk and drink before bed. Milk can be substituted with a cup of water.
2. Treat Cirrhosis Of The Liver With Triphala.
A mixture of Haritaki, Bibhitaki as well as Amalaki is beneficial for liver cirrhosis. It will suppress the liver cirrhosis symptoms and provide relief. Take 500 mg of Triphala powder with a tablespoon of honey and warm water before a meal.
3. Bhringraj Will Heal The Liver Cirrhosis Symptoms.
Jaundice may be one of the causes of liver cirrhosis. Bhringraj is effective in treating jaundice within a week. Grind fresh bhringraj leaves to make a paste. Add 7 black peppers in the paste and consume it on an empty stomach for 5-6 days.
4. Use Cinnamon To Treat Liver Cirrhosis.
Cinnamon is a medicinal spice that balances Vata as well as Kapha. It can heal the causes of liver cirrhosis like fatty liver. It also prevents the liver from oxidative damage. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in one cup of boiling water to make cinnamon phanta (hot infusion). Let the tea infuse for 5 minutes. Drink twice a day.
5. Try Manjistha For Cirrhosis Treatment.
Manjistha is a cooling as well as a Pitta-pacifying herb. It purifies the blood and lymphs, which eases the liver’s function. Therefore, boil one cup of water and add a teaspoon of manjistha powder in it. Steep the tea for 5 minutes and strain. Drink warm twice daily.
