Some bacteria become more prominent than the others and lead to unhealthy conditions for human being. So no matter where you live, certain diseases caused in the summer season are inevitable. Here are 6 you must always be aware of in order to safeguard yourself well.

Seasonal Diseases In The Summers

1. Diarrhea Is Common During Summers

Summers mean outings! And this means food, drinks and a gala time. However, it’s not all that fun when the edibles get contaminated and you end up with diarrhea the next day. So, you must be cautious about stale food and edibles at restaurants. And summer months also require you to stay hydrated throughout.

2. Typhoid and Summer Connection

This is a water-borne disease caused during the summer season. Contaminated food and water become the breeding ground for bacteria, and you experience loss of appetite, abdominal pain, high fever, and weakness. Basically, one starts to immune strength. Here’s how you can naturally cure typhoid fever.

3. Jaundice Is Another Common Summer Disease

Another prevalent water-borne disease that is mainly caused due to unhygienic conditions (contaminated water and food) is jaundice. It affects one’s liver functioning and leads to discoloration of the skin, darker urine, light-colored stool, and itchy skin. And in case you may want to know, here are the best home remedies for jaundice.

4. Mumps Can Occur In Summers

Amongst all the seasonal diseases in the summers, this one’s an extremely contagious viral ailment that occurs majorly in kids and gets transmitted through a cough or sneezing. Visible symptoms include fever, muscle ache, swelling in the salivary glands, and loss of appetite.

5. Seasonal Diseases In The Summers? Measles

This is yet another summer ailment that’s more or less like chickenpox and also spreads similarly. Its virus spreads pretty fast and the initial symptoms may include a sore throat, high fever, and reddening of the eyes. At a later stage, you can see white spots and rashes that first develop on the face, then the hairline, and finally spread throughout the body.

6. Chickenpox – Common Summer Ailments

One of the most common seasonal diseases in the summers is chickenpox that affects the majority of people. There are fluid-filled small rashes that develop over the body, accompanied by high fever and eventually blisters that chip off and leave marks. It’s a communicable summer disease that can last for about 15 days.
