Coriander can be used in the form of its leaves, seeds as well as the powder.

1. Cures Skin Ailments

For that flawless and beautiful skin, coriander does wonders. It has shown proven results in curing skin issues like wrinkles, rashes, eczema, itchiness and acne. It has antiseptic, anti-fungal as well as antimicrobial properties. So, it helps get rid of oily, sagging, and pigmented skin.

2. Coriander Benefits Your Hair

Coriander leaves, seeds, and powder are all helpful in boosting the growth of your hair. The follicles grow stronger, thus preventing hair fall. All the essential proteins and vitamins present in coriander benefit your hair. And it works just within a matter of weeks.

3. Aids Digestion 

To alleviate indigestion, coriander benefits through its antioxidants by facilitating better bowel movements. For thousands of years, it has been used as a digestive aid along with adding a pleasant aroma to your food.

Simple Home Based Remedies

  • In order to balance stomach heat, mix 2 grams of coriander powder in 5 grams sugar. Eat it thrice a day.
  • To aid digestion, prepare a mixture of cloves, ginger root and coriander powder in equal quantities. Take it with warm water twice a day .

4. Prevents Dehydration

3 grams of coriander with sugar and honey helps prevent excessive thirst. But, make sure that you don’t go beyond the recommended dosage.

5. Tackles Diabetes

More and more people now need natural cures for diabetes. According to several studies, regular usage of coriander benefits diabetics by controlling their blood sugar levels. Coriander can ease the problem with time. Soak a tsp of coriander seeds in water overnight. Have the mixture on an empty stomach the following morning. Another way is to swallow 2-3 grams of its powder with water once a day.

6. Supports Menstrual Functioning

Do you suffer from excessively heavy menstrual flow? Adding coriander to your diet may help. It contains natural stimulants. They maintain a hormonal balance to ensure that excessive flow is controlled. As a result, pain reduces. Regularity also improves.

7. Reduces Weight

Grind about 50 grams of fresh coriander leaves. Pour 4 cups of hot water. Then, let the solution cool for 20 minutes. Strain the mix, add a tbsp of honey and some lemon. Drink right after breakfast, 5 times a week. But, make sure to stop its usage if you experience irritation.

8. Metal Detoxification

You’ll be surprised to know that coriander benefits in the detoxification of heavy metals that accumulate in our body. This can help prevent problems like autism, infertility and dementia.

9. Treats Cold, Cough And Fever

Vitamin C content and powerful antioxidants make coriander beneficial in curing a cold and flu. Coriander leaves mixed with rice water and sugar treats cough. Coriander’s medicinal uses include the treatment of fever with a cold infusion of its leaves with sugar and lemon juice.
