Restricted blood flow towards your fingers as well as toes can be a case of Raynaud’s disease. The problem also extends to your ears and nose. Cold temperatures are to blame for the phenomenon. However, there’s a lot more to it. Home remedies and other alternative therapies help in case of primary Raynaud’s disease; however, most cases belong to the second stage which is pretty serious. This then leads to the Raynaud’s syndrome. So, it is important to know the symptoms to initiate a quick Raynaud’s syndrome treatment.

What Is Raynaud’s Syndrome?

This unusual disorder affects your blood vessels to restrict the flow of blood towards your hands as well as feet. Raynaud’s syndrome is more common among women in their 30s and the following stages. The phenomenon is more likely to occur during the colder months which is why the condition is also called cold fingers. Raynaud’s syndrome is generally a stand-alone illness; however, secondary Raynaud’s comes along other medical conditions. And it is dangerous!

  • Stress or trauma
  • Diseases of the arteries

  • Alcohol or smoking

What Are The Raynaud’s Symptoms?

  • Skin discoloration
  • Sensitivity
  • Numbness
  • Cold fingers or toes
  • Prick like sensation

Raynaud’s Disease Treatment (Home Remedies)

1. Relax Your Nerves.

We don’t really realize how stress ruins our system until something critical stems up. Disturbed mental health is one of the major reasons that trigger the Raynaud’s syndrome. So, ease the accumulating tensions in your body and practise calming yoga as well as meditation. These will improve blood circulation and also reduce the symptoms.

2. Increase The Intake Of Vitamin B3.

Relaxation techniques coupled with the right diet is the key to cure. And vitamin B3 is an important component that’ll help regulate the circulation. So, consume these as much as you can – portobello mushrooms, sunflower seeds, and green peas. You can also try any good quality vegan supplement to curb the deficiencies.

3. Try Ginger.

In case of any circulation issues, ginger is an ultimate remedy. Since it keeps you warm from the inside, your body isn’t affected by cold temperatures. It also relieves the constricted blood vessels. You can either have a small piece every day or simply sip ginger tea twice. But, do not overdo the remedy!

4. Vitamin-E Is Beneficial.

Load your regular diet with nuts, avocado, and green leafy vegetables to increase the intake of vitamin E. It not only helps beautify your skin and hair but also works to improve the oxygen flow in your body.

5. Prepare A Nice And Warming Oil.

Deep fry some cumin as well as mustard seeds. Add the charred mass to warm sesame oil along with a little salt and store it in a glass container. Massage the affected areas with this oil and only after an hour or two, wash off with lukewarm water. This will help relieve the congestion.
