1. Use Boswellia Serrata For Emphysema Treatment.
Boswellia Serrata a.k.a Indian frankincense contains boswellic acid which inhibits the production of leukotrienes (a cause of asthma). Therefore, boil a teaspoon of boswellia bark powder in a cup of water. Strain the tea and drink this twice every day.
2. Devadaru Controls Emphysema Symptoms.
Devadaru or deodar is a medicinal tree that helps improve breathing and relieves ailments like asthma or bronchitis. Therefore, take one teaspoon of devadaru bark powder and boil it in a cup of water. Steep the tea for about five minutes, strain and drink twice daily.
3. Ayurveda Affirms The Usage Of Pippali.
Emphysema causes several discomforts. Pippali, however, is a perfect remedy to destroy those symptoms. It supports proper digestion as well as detoxification. Therefore, take 1 teaspoon of pippali powder and mix it with 2 teaspoons of jaggery. Consume daily. This is a rather effective emphysema treatment.
4. Borage Seed Shows Effective Results.
Since borage seeds contain gamma-linolenic acid, they act as an immunosuppressant. This helps in relieving emphysema symptoms such as shortness of breath along with exhaustion. Therefore, take a teaspoon of borage seed oil and apply it on the chest. Massage gently every day and experience the difference.
5. Eucalyptus Oil Clears Mucus.
What is emphysema? It is said to be a life-threatening pulmonary disease. Aromatherapy is a proven emphysema treatment and you can use a few drops of eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil helps clean the mucous filled in your respiratory tract, and in turn eases the condition. So add 2-3 drops to steaming water, cover your head with a towel and place it over the utensil. Then, inhale the steam.
