In Ayurveda, sex is considered an important part of relationships as well as health. A fulfilling sex life helps you feel happier, less stressed, and more productive. In fact, studies show that it’s also linked to stronger immunity and a longer life! And guess what, practising a bunch of simple yoga practices can take your sex life to a whole new level. That’s because yoga is much more than an exercise. It improves flexibility, hormonal balance, energy, emotional well-being, sleep, strength, and of course – libido. All these things together are proven to boost sexual health. So let’s get to it! Here are the best yoga poses for a good sex life.

Yoga Poses For A Good Sex Life

1. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations)

Not one but a combination of many yoga poses, Surya Namaskar is one of the best things to start your day with. It’s a complete cardio exercise, and it strengthens your entire body. Doing several rounds of Surya Namaskar everyday helps you have high stamina in bed, helps you relax, gets rid of stress and negativity from the body, and strengthens your muscles. All of this ensures great orgasms. Surya Namaskar is also great for flexibility.

2. Eagle Pose (Garudasana)

Pose and posture have a lot of importance in yoga as well as sex. When your body looks strong and stable, you appear much more attractive. The Eagle Pose invokes and increases these qualities. Moreover, it boosts blood flow to the pelvic region, which helps have better erections in men as well as arousal in women. Include this in your yoga to increase stamina in bed.

3. Bound Angle Pose (Baddha Konasana)

This is one of the easiest yoga poses you’ll ever learn. But don’t underestimate it – the Bound Angle Pose is rather powerful! It works wonders for high stress levels that often cause sexual performance problems. It opens up the hips, which helps balance the Sacral chakra, your sexual energy centre. This pose instantly sends blood flowing to your reproductive system, which boosts the chances for high sexual arousal.

4. Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana)

The Bridge Pose is among the best yoga poses to increase your libido. It strengthens the core and pelvic muscles, hips, spine, and chest. This is a great asana for men who want to increase their vitality. For women, it can significantly boost the quality of orgasms since it exercises the pelvic muscles responsible for this. It also busts stress, improves confidence, reduces high blood pressure, and relieves mild pain in the back. By doing so, it helps you feel refreshed and ready for a good lovemaking session with your partner.

5. Downward Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

Last on the list of yoga poses for a good sex life is the popular Downward Dog pose. The very form of this pose appears sexual since it emphasises the pelvic region. But it offers direct benefits too. If you’re stressed, mentally fatigued, or experiencing mild depression, chances are that it’s damaging your sex life. If so, then this pose can tackle all these causes and improve your sexual health.
