Osteomalacia is a bone disease that usually occurs in adults. When the bones of a child weaken, it is known as rickets. Osteomalacia meaning isn’t much different from osteoporosis. While osteoporosis is softening of the bones, osteomalacia refers to the inability of the bones to harden. The osteomalacia symptoms include breaking of the bones due to a lack of vitamin D and other minerals necessary for the growth and maintenance of your bone health. Osteomalacia causes pain in the joints that may also leave a burning sensation. Therefore, it is vital to sufficiently nourish the body with a natural osteomalacia treatment.

What Is The Osteomalacia?

Osteomalacia means softer bones. It is a condition where the bones lack Vitamin D levels along with calcium, as well as magnesium – minerals that are significant for the upkeep of bones. So, when the body is bereft of these nutrients, osteomalacia symptoms are sure to show up.

What Are The Osteomalacia Causes?

  • Vitamin D deficiency
  • Inability to absorb calcium
  • Celiac disease
  • Liver or kidney disorder
  • Seizure medications
  • Rare genetics

What Are The Osteomalacia Symptoms?

  • Tiredness
  • Pain
  • Stiffness in the joints
  • Difficulty getting up or walking
  • Weakened arms as well as thigh muscles
  • Bones breaking easily

Osteomalacia Treatment

1. Hadjod Herb Heals Fractures.

The best herb for healing osteomalacia symptoms is Hadjod (Cissus Quadrangularis). Studies have shown that Hadjod speeds up the fracture healing process. So, boil fresh stems in a cup of water for about 5-10 minutes. Strain and drink once every day.

2. Arjuna Bark Is Rich In Calcium.

Arjuna bark is an anti-inflammatory herb used in several Ayurvedic therapies. It contains elements that help reduce pain as well as strengthen the bone health. Therefore, boil some Arjuna bark pieces in a cup of water. Steep for 5 minutes and drink twice daily.

3. Guggul Is An Effective Ayurvedic Herb.

In Ayurveda, an aggravation of ama leads to osteomalacia. However, guggul is known to remove ama from the body. So, you can prepare a paste by grinding guggul and directly apply it over the joints every day for quick relief.

4. Dandelion Tea Is An Effective Osteomalacia Treatment.

Since dandelion is anti-inflammatory in nature, it helps detoxify the body. So, roast some dandelion roots in a pan on medium heat. Boil two cups of water and add the roots. Let them steep for about 10 minutes and strain. Drink twice every day.

5. Oat Straw Infusion Cures Osteomalacia Symptoms.

Osteomalacia causes weaker as well as brittle bones. Therefore, oat straw is beneficial since it is rich in calcium and magnesium. Take a warm water bath with some oat straw mixed in it. You can also soak the affected areas daily for about 20 minutes to relax muscle spasm.
