Parenchymal disease is mostly associated with hypertension as well as diabetes. The kidneys have nephrons that filter the blood in your body and help remove toxins in the form of urine. However, when the kidneys stop functioning properly, the waste starts to accumulate. This eventually causes damage to other organs as well.

Apart from high blood pressure and diabetes, there are several other factors that may cause kidney disease such as renal parenchymal disease, also known as Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Here’s what you need to know about the disorder.

What Are The Parenchymal Disease Causes?

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Chronic viral disease
  • Urinary tract infection like pyelonephritis
  • Inflammation in the kidneys
  • Polycystic kidney disease
  • Injury in the kidneys
  • Certain medicine and drugs
  • Family history
  • Genetics

What Are The Parenchymal Disease Symptoms?

  • Weight loss
  • Feeling of vomiting
  • Frequent or less urinating
  • Swelling in the ankles and puffiness around the eyes
  • Foam in urine
  • Cramps in legs
  • Loss of taste
  • Extremely dry and itchy skin
  • Loss of appetite
  • Shortness of breath
  • Poor sleep

Chronic Kidney Disease Treatment

1. Gokshuradi Guggulu Heals Renal Disease.

A combination of gokshura, guggulu, triphala, trikuta as well as musta is gokshuradi guggulu. These herbs are diuretic in nature and they balance the doshas in the body. So, mix all the herbs in equal quantity and take 1g of the mixture three times every day.

2. Rasayan Churna Is Beneficial.

This churna is a mixture of three potent Ayurvedic herbs – gokshura, guduchi as well as amalaki. These herbs assist the kidney’s functioning. Therefore, take 3g of the rasayan churna twice every day.

3. Fig Tea Cures Parenchymal Disease Symptoms.

Studies have shown that fig leaves reduce blood sugar levels. Diabetes is known to be a major cause of renal parenchymal disease. Therefore, prepare a tea by boiling few fig leaves in a cup of water. Steep the tea for 5 minutes and drink after meals.

4. Basil & Honey Benefits The Kidneys.

Basil contains acetic acid which is known to assist in the break down of kidney stones. It also reduces the pain caused by the stones. Boil 4 to 5 leaves of basil in a cup of water. Steep the tea for 5 minutes. Strain and add a teaspoon of honey. Drink twice every day.

5. Varuna Decoction Prevents Kidney Failure.

Ayurveda advises the usage of varuna herb for treating renal parenchymal disease. The leaves of varuna tree are diuretic. Thus, a decoction of the leaves will help in removing waste naturally. Boil the leaves of varuna in a cup of water. Steep them for 10 minutes. Strain and drink warm. The dosage should not exceed more than 50ml per day.
