Miscarriage, unfortunately, is pretty common amongst pregnant women these days. One mistake and you may probably lose the fetus (before the 20th week of pregnancy). However, it does not lower your chances of getting pregnant in the future. But, the loss is immense. According to Ayurveda, stress, nutritional deficiencies (in the sperm or ovum), poor digestion, troubled lifestyle and a disturbed reproductive system are usually the common causes of miscarriage. There are signs of miscarriage which you can decipher to prevent the condition. Vaginal bleeding, as well as abdominal cramps, are the initial miscarriage symptoms. However, you can prevent miscarriage symptoms by restoring the digestive health that strengthens your reproductive functioning with proper nourishment. So, try these ayurvedic remedies to prevent the miscarriage pain and other related discomforts.

Some women do not experience any signs of miscarriage at all while the others may go through the following:

  • Fatigue
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Abdominal pain as well as cramps
  • Breast tenderness
  • Excess vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Pelvic pain
  • Uterine contraction and irregular bleeding
  • Weakness
  • Fever

With time, the condition worsens and basically, you no longer experience any symptoms of pregnancy.

Remedies To Prevent Miscarriage

1. Asafetida Promotes Better Digestion. 

Since asafetida is one spice that’s good for your digestive system, it helps prevent the signs of miscarriage. Therefore, you can dissolve half a teaspoon of asafetida powder in water and drink once every day.

2. Shatavari Is Beneficial For Reproductive Health.

Shatavari helps cure reproductive issues like vaginal bleeding or miscarriage pain which are also the initial signs of miscarriage. Therefore, take about 400-500mg of Shatavari powder with water for better results.

3. Black Gram Decction Treats The Causes Of Miscarriage.

Since stress, as well as tension, are two major causes of miscarriage, you’ll have to get rid of that unwanted anxiety. Therefore, drink this decoction – boil a teaspoon of black gram powder in one and a half cup of water. Let it steep for 10 minutes and drink twice daily.

4. Cold Water Compress Lowers Heat In The Groin Area.

One of the major causes of miscarriage is excess heat in the body. So, you can apply a towel soaked in cold water to the groin area whenever the body starts heating.

5. Use Ashoka To Avert The Signs Of Miscarriage.

Ashoka, also known as Saraca Indica is a herb used to prevent miscarriage as well as other reproductive issues faced by women. So, prepare a tea to effectively wave off the causes of miscarriage – boil 3 to 5 leaves of Ashoka in a cup of water, steep for about 5 minutes and drink twice every day.
