However, plantar fasciitis treatment is necessary since the condition can result in ligament tears and permanent walking issues.
What Is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar Fascia is a thick tissue that connects the heel to the toes of the foot. When this fibrous tissue gets strained or injured, it leads to swelling and pain in the heels. The plantar fasciitis causes severe heel pain. It can occur while standing, walking or getting up. Heel pain in the morning is quite common.

Plantar Fasciitis Treatment
1. Horse Gram Churna Strengthens Heel Muscles.
Plantar fasciitis weakens the muscles. Prepare a paste by grinding one cup horse gram with some water. Apply black sesame oil on the heels and put the horse gram paste over it. Cover the area with castor leaves and leave for 4 hours.
2. Foot Soak In Hot/Cold Water.
While some patients feel good with warm compression, others benefit from a cold one. So, you can either apply ice cubes on the heels for 15 minutes and repeat thrice daily or soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes every day. Add one tablespoon Epsom salt. End with a cold water rinse.
3. Chamomile Tea Will Subdue Plantar Fasciitis Symptoms.
Heel pain in the morning can spoil the entire day. Drink chamomile tea which will freshen up the mood and reduce inflammation. Add chamomile flowers in a kettle filled with water. Steep the tea for 5-8 minutes. Strain and drink one cup twice or thrice a day.
4. Frankincense Oil Will Relieve Severe Heel Pain.
Plantar fasciitis symptoms include severe heel pain when walking. Frankincense essential oil relieves pain as well as calms the mind. So, add a few drops of frankincense oil in one tablespoon of coconut oil. Massage the heels gently.
5. Use Turmeric To Soothe Inflammation.
Turmeric is a medicinal spice that can heal the root cause of plantar fasciitis. Therefore, add a pinch of turmeric in one cup of water and drink every morning.
