Bothered by frizzy hair? You’re not the only one! Millions of men and women across the world face the problem and look for solutions for Frizzy Hair Control. It mostly results from dryness, neglect, damage from cosmetic products, and pollution. Genes also determine the texture of your hair to quite an extent. The earlier you spot frizziness, the easier it is to treat. But of course, it’s never too late! Go ahead and revive your precious locks with these Ayurvedic remedies.

Ayurvedic Remedies For Frizzy Hair Control

1. Nourishing Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is a valued Ayurvedic ingredient. It’s moisturising, nourishing, and strengthening for your hair. How to get rid of frizzy hair with coconut milk? It’s pretty easy: warm up some coconut milk (the shorter the hair, the lesser the quantity). Then just massage the coconut milk onto the length of your hair. Wash off with mild herbal shampoo after about half an hour.

2. Healing Ayurvedic Oils

Ask any hair care expert how to maintain hair health, and they’ll tell you to oil your hair regularly. Ayurveda encourages using warm oils. There are plenty of Ayurvedic oils derived from herbs that not only tackle frizz, but also add thickness, and make it shine. Ayurvedic oils can also treat problems like dandruff and premature greying. Some of the best ones are:

  • Amla (Indian gooseberry oil)
  • Bhringraj oil
  • Sesame oil
  • Almond oil
  • Castor oil
  • Argan oil
  • Olive oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Brahmi oil

3. Golden Honey Water

Honey is one of the best home remedies for frizzy hair. Give your hair some luxurious treatment with this remedy and you’re likely to witness significant improvements in hair texture. In fact, honey also lightens the hair, which can give you a fun new look. Add 2 tablespoons of honey to 2 cups of warm water. Pour this solution onto your hair. After half an hour, wash off with mild herbal shampoo.

4. Revitalising Avocado Paste

Breathe new life into your tresses with an avocado hair mask for frizzy hair. This superfood is packed with healthy fats as well as antioxidants like vitamin E and C. It’s deeply moisturising and can therefore get rid of frizz quite easily. All you need to do is mash an avocado and create a paste by adding a bit of olive oil to it. After shampooing your hair, apply it as a hair mask. Wash off with water after about an hour.

5. Hydrating Banana Hair Pack

Banana and honey make for an excellent hair pack for frizzy hair. The two of them hydrate the hair as well as the scalp. They also soothe irritation, repair damage, and provide the scalp with nutrients needed for healthy hair. Just mash a banana and add 2 tablespoons of honey. Create a paste and apply it onto your scalp as well as hair strands. Wash off with cold water after 30 to 40 minutes.
