Hypothermia is a state in which your body temperature tends to decline. Staying in a cold climate, being in the snow for long or undertaking activities such as ice skating are a few common hypothermia causes. Among the major hypothermia symptoms is frostbite, wherein the treatment becomes essential.

The average temperature of the human body remains between 97°F to 99°F. However, if it goes under 97°F, the condition can be deadly. This is why hypothermia treatment including home remedies must be carried out immediately upon noticing the signs.

Hypothermia Treatment

1. Ginger Tea Is A Potent Remedy.  

Ginger tea is one of the major hypothermia treatment ingredients. It helps improve your blood circulation as well as keeps the body warm. So, drink around 3-4 cups of ginger tea every day for a few days and help your body revive itself.

2. Green Tea Cures The Symptoms.

The antioxidant-packed green tea can prevent the hypothermia symptoms. Its usage can raise low body temperature. Hence, the tea is beneficial in the condition.

3. A Cinnamon Drink Is Effective Hypothermia Treatment.

Since cinnamon is a wonderful spice having medicinal properties, you can use it as an effective treatment. The compound cinnamaldehyde present in it is anti-hypothermic, therefore even one cup of cinnamon powder tea is beneficial in keeping your body warm.

4. A Ginseng Decoction Increases Low Body Temperature.

Panax ginseng is effective in reducing in the hypothermia symptoms. The adaptogens in ginseng help relax your body as well as mind. Therefore, boil 5-7 chopped slices of ginseng in a cup of water for about 5-7 minutes. Strain and drink the tea warm. Avoid drinking the tea in case you have any autoimmune disorders, heart or sleep problems.

5. Gingko Biloba Is A Beneficial Herb.

This herb is used to treat a variety of diseases like malaria as well as dengue. Since gingko is rich in antioxidants, it regulates the blood circulation, increases the body temperature and also strengthens your immune system. Therefore, you can have a cup of gingko leaves tea everyday to keep yourself warm.
