What Is Scoliosis?
Scoliosis is the curvature of the spine that is otherwise upright and vertical. Your spine normally curves upon bending. However, due to certain conditions, a curved spine can be seen. It aches severely and half of the body leans towards one side.
How Do You Get Scoliosis?
The exact causes of a curved spine are unknown. However, there are certain factors that may be lead to a curvature of the spine.
- Abnormality during pregnancy
- Disease related to nerves and muscles

What Are The Signs Of Scoliosis?
- Uneven shoulders

1. Turmeric Is The Best Healer.
Turmeric is an ancient spice which is also an effective medicine. It is anti-inflammatory as well as an analgesic in nature. So, make a paste by adding some water to one teaspoon of turmeric powder. Apply this paste on the spine twice every day.
2. Thyme Prevents Inflammation.
Thyme is anti-inflammatory and therefore considered beneficial for the treatment of a curved spine. So, prepare a tea by boiling thyme in a cup of water. Steep for 5 minutes and then strain. Drink regularly.
3. Green Tea Boosts Immunity.
A cup of green tea regularly helps strengthen your immunity. So, in a cup of boiling water, add a teaspoon of green tea. Steep this for 8-10 minutes. Strain and drink twice daily to treat curvature of the spine.
4. Basil & Ginger Tea Is Anti-Inflammatory.
Inflammation is one of the signs of scoliosis. Basil and ginger will therefore work best as they detoxify and cool the body. So, in a cup of water, add one teaspoon of ginger root powder and 4 to 5 basil leaves. Steep for 5 minutes and drink warm. Repeat twice every day.
5. Apply Oregano Herbal Oil To Relax.
Oregano essential oil relaxes pains associated with the curvature of the spine. So, take 10 drops of oregano oil and mix with a tablespoon of coconut oil. Apply on the affected area and massage gently for 20 minutes daily.
6. Arnica Aids In Muscle Spasms.
Arnica is harmful as it is toxic. It should not be consumed internally or applied on broken skin. However, when used medicinally, it is known to relieve pain as well as muscle spasms. So, add some arnica tincture in one liter of hot water. Dip a cloth in it and then keep it on the spine. Repeat this twice regularly.
7. Licorice Root Is A Natural Pain Reliever.
Since licorice is a natural painkiller, it will help in reducing the signs of scoliosis. Therefore, take a teaspoon of licorice root powder with a teaspoon of honey or a glass of warm milk and have it daily.
