How To Have A Healthy Heart? Try Yoga!

Heart disease can be fought as well as be prevented with the help of yoga. It has proved miraculous in the treatment of heart problems. So try the following:

1. Tadasana (Mountain Pose) For Healthy Blood Circulation

Tadasana like other yoga postures significantly helps improve your body posture. It aids in better digestion as well as proper elimination. It also enhances blood circulation, which automatically becomes beneficial for the heart.

2. Padangusthasana (The Big Toe Pose) For Maintaining The Blood Pressure Levels

Padangusthasana is extremely beneficial in reducing stress, calming the mind, and fighting anxiety as well as depression. This yoga posture not only tackles mental health issues but also battles high blood pressure which can be harmful. Thus, the Big Toe pose must be practiced regularly.

3. Uttanpadasana (The Raised Leg Pose) To Cure Diabetes

Obesity, diabetes as well as blood pressure are amongst a few heart disease causes. But, the Raised Leg yoga pose effectively increases blood circulation, reduces your weight, lowers acidity and improves the symptoms of diabetes. Uttanpadasana eliminates all the factors that degenerate your heart health.

4. Hridaya Mudra For Heart Palpitations

As the name suggests, the Hridya (heart) mudra has been outlined for heart patients. High blood pressure, as well as heart palpitations, are the common symptoms of a heart disease. Therefore, hridaya mudra can show desirable results in both the conditions. Hence, it is advisable for heart patients to practice any kind of yoga under expert supervision.

5. Sukhasana (Easy Pose) For Improving Heart Rate

Studies have shown that deep breathing helps lower the heart rate as well as hypertension. Sitting in the Easy Pose and breathing profoundly helps calm the nervous system. Inhaling for a count of two as well as exhaling to a count of four improves your heart’s fitness.
