Here, we answer all the questions: What does morning sickness feel like, how long does morning sickness last, exactly when does morning sickness end, and what are some effective morning sickness remedies.

Morning Sickness Remedies

1. Lemons Alleviate The Morning Sickness Symptoms.

There’s no better remedy than that of lemons. No matter how long morning sickness lasts, lemons will always have a relieving effect. Lemons overcome the vomiting sensation and also keep you nourished. So, have a glass of lemonade with a tsp honey as well as a pinch of cardamom powder. You may also add some fresh mint leaves for that added benefit!

2. Peppermint Relieves The Discomforts.

Take just one drop of peppermint oil along with 3 drops of chamomile oil and rub this on your stomach as well as forehead. Since the two have a stimulating effect, a little will go a long way. You can even have a soothing cup of peppermint tea every day for instant relief. Not just this, you may also inhale peppermint oil as it has the same effect.

3. Ginger – A Powerful Nausea Remedy

Either in the form of a juice, tea or raw, have some ginger. You can also have a tsp ginger juice mixed in honey and lemon juice twice daily with water. It’ll be one of your go-to morning sickness remedies.

4. Fennel Is Refreshing.

To ease the symptoms and soothe your gut, chew a tbsp of fennel seeds after your meals every time. You can also prepare a calming cup of fennel tea. For that added flavor as well as benefit, mix a tsp honey along with lemon juice and absorb all the goodness.

5. Follow These Essential Tips.

  • Stay hydrated.
  • Rest as much as you can.
  • Do not over-stress yourself.
  • Have smaller meals throughout the day.
  • Walk on the grass barefoot and inhale as much fresh air as possible.
  • Restrict your alcohol, caffeine and processed food intake.
  • Exercise every day.
  • Lessen your exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Bathe with room temperature water – not too hot nor too cold.
  • Avoid staying empty stomach for long hours.
