Cuts and abrasions are common. People get injured even while moving around, let alone severe accidents. Every cut, bruise, and laceration is temporary. Human bodies naturally start the process of wound healing as soon as there is damage. But there are some factors that delay the process of recovery. People with diabetes as well as poor blood circulation, obesity, and alcohol addiction tend to experience problems in wound healing. In such conditions, you can try home remedies to cure wounds quicker. How to heal deep wounds faster? There are some foods and natural oils you can use to aid the stages of wound healing. What are these phases? Read below.

Stages Of Wound Healing

Stage 1: Proteins in the blood help the platelets create a clot that prevents blood from flowing outside the skin. It is known as hemostasis.

Stage 2: The skin starts to inflame, causing swelling as well as redness around the injury. At this stage, white blood cells accumulate at the site to fight bacteria and cure wounds quickly.

Stage 3: Gradually, new skin cells start building with the help of proteins and oxygen. The skin synthesizes collagen for wound care. A reddish scar symbolizes this stage, and the scar fades with time.

Stage 4: The last among the four stages of wound healing is maturation. New skin tissue emerges. The skin around the wound will stretch and wrinkle.

How To Heal Deep Wounds Faster & Naturally?

1. Apply Honey On The Cut.

Raw honey is antimicrobial, which means it kills bacteria as well as protects the wound from infections. Disinfecting is always necessary for wound care.

2. Try Essential Oil For Skin Care.

Tea tree oil, rosemary oil, and peppermint oil are moisturizing as well as antibacterial in nature. Apply a few drops of either of these by mixing in a carrier oil like that of coconut.

4. Cure Wounds With Vitamin C Foods.

Wound care is effective with the consumption of Vitamin C. It produces collagen in the body which improves all stages of wound healing. Amla, oranges, green bell peppers as well as papaya are rich in Vitamin C.
