Since a long time, cayenne pepper has been used for the purpose of boosting the flavors of food. Ayurveda emphasizes its use for the treatment of several health issues, all thanks to the cayenne pepper benefits. It contains both medicinal as well as nutritional properties. It is loaded with vitamins E, C, K, and B. The capsaicin present in cayenne makes it a potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory as well as analgesic. It can pacify Vata dosha. Capsaicin, an active component present in cayenne is a potent antioxidant that destroys cancer cells during the apoptosis process. Therefore, you can take smaller amounts of the powdered cayenne in your meals every day.

2. It Helps Maintain Oral Health.

Cayenne is anti-inflammatory in nature. It reduces swelling and pain in the gums, and also fade away gets rid of foul smell. So, add two to three drops of cayenne oil in a cup of water and use it as a natural mouthwash. 

3. It Soothes An Itchy Throat.

An itchy throat can be irritating. However, cayenne is a decongestant. It removes the irritants as well as mucus from the throat and lungs. Thus, add half a teaspoon of cayenne in one tbsp honey and consume thrice every day.

4. The Pepper Is A Natural Cleanser.

Since cayenne flushes out toxins from your liver and intestines, you can take one glass of water with 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne powder in it. Mix one juice from one lemon and some honey for added benefit and drink the water on an empty stomach.

5. It Aids Healthy Weight Loss. 

You can effectively shed those extra kilos as cayenne pepper health benefits speed up your body’s metabolic rate. Take a pinch of cayenne powder in bitter gourd juice and drink twice daily.

6. It Improves Blood Circulation.

Cayenne pepper health benefits include the regulation of your blood pressure levels. Capsaicin present in cayenne removes any blockage in the vessels. Therefore, mix half a teaspoon of cayenne powder in one cup of warm water. Add two tbsps of raw apple cider vinegar and one tbsp of honey. Mix well and consume twice daily.

7. It’s A Natural Muscle Relaxant.

Cayenne pepper benefits by reducing muscle pain since it’s a natural analgesic. So, take half a teaspoon of cayenne powder in three tablespoons warm coconut oil. Apply it to the muscle joints and leave for 20 minutes.
