Brain fog is not a disease. It is a symptom that signifies other illnesses. The condition, therefore, refers to cognitive issues like poor memory retention, reduced focus and concentration, and unclarity in other brain functions. In Ayurveda, brain fog is a problem of the Vata dosh, which is related to air as well as space. Thus, Ayurvedic herbs that pacify Vata are given to patients as an effective brain fog treatment.

What Is Brain Fog?

Essentially, it’s a condition of mental confusion. Your ability to choose words as well as expressions gradually start to weaken. Brain Fog Treatment

1. Ginkgo Biloba Is An Antidepressant.

This herb is given to patients who suffer from depression. Regular consumption of ginkgo biloba helps improve cognitive functioning. It reduces stress as well as other tensions. Therefore, take one teaspoon of dried ginkgo powder and boil it in a cup of water. Drink this twice daily to boost your memory power and also calm the mind.

2. St. John’s Wort is Helpful In Insomnia.

One of the common brain fog symptoms includes sleeplessness. St. John’s Wort acts a natural sedative. It induces sleep as well as calms the mind. So, boil a teaspoon of St. worts powder in a cup of water. Steep the tea for 5 minutes, strain and drink every day before sleeping.

3. Rosemary Heals Brain Fog Symptoms.

Brain inflammation caused in the nerves leads to brain fog symptoms like confusion as well as short-term memory. Rosemary is an anti-inflammatory herb. It also contains antioxidants to protect your organs from oxidative stress. Therefore, apply rosemary essential oil mixed with coconut oil on the head and massage for 15-20 minutes before sleeping.

4. Rhodiola Is A Popular Adaptogen.

This flower is majorly used for its stress-reducing properties. Adaptogens boost energy as well as enhance mood. Since brain fog causes stress and an unhealthy lifestyle makes it even worse, rhodiola is an ultimate cure. The recommended dosage for fatigue is about 50mg per day.

5. Brahmi Is Number One Brain Tonic.

Ayurveda recommends brahmi for the prevention of psychological stress. It enhances blood circulation as well as your brain’s functioning. The herb is beneficial for increasing brain power. Therefore, take around 500mg of brahmi powder with a glass of warm milk every day for best results.
