Subluxation is life-threatening since it severely affects your nervous system, including the brain’s functioning. Strong pain in the joints and inflamed muscles are some of the major subluxation causes that gradually lead to degeneration or deformities in the body. Read further to know what is subluxation, its symptoms, and its natural treatment.
What Is Subluxation?
Subluxation is the displacement of a joint or an organ in the body – but is different from dislocation. There also are different types. Spinal subluxation occurs when the curve of the spine changes. Vertebral subluxation can be defined as the abnormal placement of the vertebra in the spine. Shoulder subluxation occurs when the ball of the upper arm bone partly comes out of the socket.
Subluxation can majorly occur in the spine, shoulder, and vertebrae – thus causing difficulty in motion as well as stiffness.
What Causes Subluxation?
A decrease in the distance between the nerve roots around the spinal cord is a major subluxation cause. It leads to inflammation as well as irritation in the joints. The other reasons include:
- Local ischemia
- Tissue rigidity
