In simple words, nausea is a feeling of vomiting. It makes you pretty uncomfortable and irritable. Mostly, women who are pregnant may experience the feeling. But if it’s otherwise, there can be different causes of nausea. Therefore, it’s wise to seek nausea remedies since it interferes with your daily activities. And, Ayurveda suggests effective home remedies for nausea relief that do not have any side effects. Moreover, they work instantly on the nausea symptoms.

What Are The Causes Of Nausea?

There are various medical conditions that can lead to any of the nausea symptoms. Therefore, some of the causes of nausea are mentioned below: 

  • Pregnancy
  • Alcohol overuse
  • Intense Pain
  • Motion sickness
  • Food poisoning
  • Stress
  • Cold and infections
  • Allergies
  • Migraine headaches
  • Low blood sugar

What Are The Nausea Symptoms?

  • Constantly feeling sick
  • Abdominal pain
  • Fever
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Vomiting
  • Acidity
  • Dizziness

Home Remedies For Nausea

1. Aloe Vera Juice Is Healthy For Your Stomach.

One of the best nausea remedies is  aloe vera juice. Since it is soothing as well as anti-inflammatory in nature, it retains the ability to reduce burning sensations along with calming the feeling of vomiting.

2. Ginger Tea Is One Of The Best Nausea Remedies.

Ginger is known to effectively aid the digestive processes. It helps revitalize the digestive fire and support its functioning. Therefore, boil a teaspoon of ginger powder in one cup of water. Steep the tea for about 5 minutes and drink twice daily.

3. Chamomile Tea Rids The Nausea Symptoms.

Ayurveda considers chamomile as a powerful herb that perfectly heals gastric issues like bloating, abdominal pain as well as nausea.  So, add some chamomile leaves in a cup of water. Boil the solution for 5-8 minutes. Sieve and drink twice daily.

4. Ayurveda Recommends Amla For Nausea.

Amla is a citrus fruit, also known as Indian gooseberry. Ayurveda uses amla for treating the causes of nausea. Therefore, blend dry amla 3-5 fruits to prepare juice and drink 5-10 ml every day. 

5. Peppermint Cools The Stomach & Mind.

Since peppermint is a cooling agent, it helps relieve the nausea symptoms as well as further prevents the causes of nausea. Therefore, you can drink peppermint tea daily for nausea relief. 

6. Try Baking Soda.

Baking soda is one of the best home remedies for nausea relief. It gets rid of acidity which could be one of the major causes of nausea. Thus, add 10 drops of lime juice, half a teaspoon sugar, and 1/4th teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of water. Stir and drink until the nausea symptoms subside.

7. Chew Cardamom.

Not only does cardamom help get rid of bad breath, but it also eases digestion issues. So, one of the simplest forms of nausea treatment is to chew 2 cardamom seeds every day for effective and quick results.
