Good health isn’t only about your skin or hair. It’s also about your mind, soul, and body along with the food you eat and the thoughts you have. The summer season in tropical countries can be especially upsetting, because it leads to several summer ailments. But, with these summer beauty tips, you can radiate from within.

Best Summer Beauty Tips

1. Understand Your Body Type.

When you understand your individual constitution, it helps you personalize your beauty regime. Vata skin type is dry, thin, delicate, and prone to wrinkles. Pitta skin type is more susceptible to breakouts and rashes. However, Kapha skin type is much thicker, oily, and wrinkle-prone.

2. Go Chemical-Free For The Best Beauty Routine.

One of the best summer beauty tips is to swap all chemicals and replace them with products that are organic or in fact homemade. Your hair and skin deserve love. So, do what’s good for them!

3. Make Time For Your Hair.

Nourishment for your hair is of utmost importance. Take some time for your locks to make them lustrous and improve the circulation. The summer Sun can dry your hair also damage your hair follicles, so be more cautious. Moisturise well with oils.

4. Have A Seasonal Approach To Your Skin.

When you have a seasonal approach towards your beauty regime, you know how important it is to pacify pitta during summers, even if you are a Vata or a Kapha person.

5. Keep The Skin Moisturized With Coconut Oil.

Coconut oil is cooling and doesn’t feel heavy on your skin. You can heal your degenerated skin cells with organic coconut oil or castor oil, in case of acute dryness. Add chickpea flour if you have oily skin or simply apply ghee for dry skin.

6. Exfoliate With Sugar.

Best summer beauty tips include sugar as a natural scrub to exfoliate your skin and retain its moisture. Mix it with rose petals for an even more soothing and beautifying effect.

7. Bathe In Raw Milk.

To prevent all inflammations, use full-fat or cream based milk (coconut milk is a vegan alternative) to swab your skin or simply bathe in it. This will not only remove the accumulated dirt but also nourish your skin and keep it supple.

8. Neem Is A Spot On Treatment.

Directly treat inflammations or marks with some neem oil. The remedy is cooling as well as appropriate for the summer season. Aloe vera too has a similar effect and is a guaranteed treatment for sunburns.

9. Use A Soft Bristle Dry Brush For Your Body.

A natural bristle brush does wonders. It helps tone your skin to even help cure cellulite over the time. Its exfoliation is less abrasive. You can also brush your body to ensure better circulation.

10. Embrace The Practice Of Self Massage.

Go for a radiating abhyanga massage to help manage stress and gain maximum bodily benefit during summers.

11. Prevent Sun Damage.

Protect yourself from the harsh effects of the Sun during summers. Your body is capable of cooling itself, but you too need to take the right preventive measures.

12. Increase Your Intake Of Summer Foods and Drinks

Stay hydrated during summers with these hydrating summer drinks and have food that keeps you cool from within.
