A bloated stomach is common. Men, women, and even teenagers suffer from abdominal bloating. What causes bloating? Eating excessive food or staying with an empty stomach for long duration can produce gas. But it is quite an easy task to get rid of bloating and gas. Use these bloating remedies mentioned in this article. 

What Causes Bloating?

  • Indigestion
  • Lactose intolerance
  • Constipation
  • Medications like aspirin and antacids
  • Multivitamin and iron supplements
  • Gastric disorders
  • Gassy foods like beans, broccoli, and fizzy drinks

What Are The Bloating Symptoms?

  • Excessive gas inside the intestines
  • Stomach pain
  • Fever
  • Rumbling and gurgling in the abdomen
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Feeling stuffed in the belly
  • Burping or belching repeatedly

Bloating Remedies

1. Chew Fennel Seeds.

Fennel seeds are carminative. They are good for bloating and gas problems. It is a practice in India to chew a pinch of fennel seeds right after every meal.

2. Drink Ginger Tea.

Ginger is one of the best home remedies for bloating. It increases the agni (digestive fire) and helps to release abdominal bloating. Boil a teaspoon of crushed ginger in a cup of water. Steep the tea for 5 minutes and then strain. Drink once daily to get rid of bloating symptoms.

3. Cumin Is Good For A Bloated Stomach.

What causes bloating is unhealthy food and a disturbed daily schedule. Cumin, with its carminative properties, treats a bloated stomach. Chew a pinch of cumin seeds every time bloating and gas trouble you.

4. Parsley Inhibits Inflammation.

Parsley belongs to the mint family. It cools down the stomach and reduces abdominal bloating. Take a cup of chopped parsley and put it to boil in 500ml of water. Steep the tea for 10 minutes and then strain it. Drink one cup of the tea twice a day.

5. Lemon Water Prevents Bloating.

Lemon has diuretic properties. It detoxifies the digestive system and heals bloating symptoms. Add a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to a glass of warm water. Mix a teaspoon of honey for flavor. Drink every morning for a bloated stomach.

6. Baking Soda Reduces Gas.

Learn what causes bloating and then try baking soda for the cure. Baking soda works as an antacid and releases abdominal bloating. Stir a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water. Drink once daily.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar Is Relieving.

Apple cider vinegar aids digestive functioning. Heal bloating symptoms with an ACV solution. In a glass of warm water, add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and drink it once per day.

8. Aloe Vera Juice Cures Abdominal Bloating.

Aloe vera is a moisturizing and soothing agent. It is among the top bloating remedies. Take a teaspoon of aloe vera gel and mix it in a cup of water. Blend well and drink once every day.
