Besides this, your navel is associated with several other functions and not every time will you experience a pull due to emotional turmoil. Home Remedies For Belly Button Pain

1. Warm Compression Is Soothing.

In case of sharp navel pain, warm compression works well. Although it’s not helpful for infections, it can still relieve the pain. Soak a soft towel in warm water, squeeze out the excess and put it on your belly button daily for 10-15 minutes. This will ease out the belly button pain. A warm water shower can also leave a similar impact.

2. Salt Water Cures Infections.

With the help of a cotton ball, apply some salt water (salt + warm water) thrice daily on the infected area to reduce the pain. This will also improve blood flow.

3. Turmeric Is Therapeutic.

This golden spice is a healing agent. It is antibacterial, antiseptic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory in nature to effectively reduce pain around the belly button. Either apply a paste of turmeric powder mixed in water or drink turmeric milk daily. Add some honey to boost your immune system.

5. Aloe Vera Eases Pain Around The Belly Button.

Having anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera is a potent solution for pain around the belly button.  It helps reduce inflammation. Thrice daily, massage your belly button with fresh aloe gel for 15 minutes.

6. Belly Button Hurts? Try Tea Tree Oil.

Tea tree oil combats bacterial, fungal as well as yeast infections. It can help get rid of redness, itching or any disease-related discomforts. So, mix a few drops of the oil in a tsp of coconut, castor or almond oil and apply it twice daily for instant relief.
